Eight days in Paris
Eight days at the Olympic Games in Paris, an unforgettable experience. 20 competitions, an incredible atmosphere, sold-out stadiums, one highlight after another. The athletes' performances were impressive, as was the enthusiasm of the spectators, who were loud, very, very loud when French athletes competed. But the competition venues were also a star. The beach volleyball tournament under the Eiffel Tower, fencing in the Grand Palais, 3x3 basketball on the Place de la Concorde and athletics in the Stade de France were iconic. No less impressive for me was a basketball game in the ‘half football stadium’ in Lille in front of 27,000 spectators
